Everett and Simon love the Avatar - love, LOVE the Avatar. So I wasn't surprised to hear that Everett had plans for becoming more like the Avatar in the future. I was surprised to hear just how that's going to happen. On the way to school the other day I overheard, "When I grow up, and get all hairy, I'm going to shave my hair into patterns like the Avatar."
Absolutely awesome. It's way better than the goals that I had at that age for when I grew up, which were something along the lines of, "When I grow up, I'm never going to do the dishes again."
In case you're wondering, the dishes thing hasn't worked out too well for me.

Look at all the love I'm getting from construction equipment. Wow. It makes me feel all tough... or something.
Kristin - yeah, the avatar isn't actually bad. I kind of enjoy it, as far as kids tv shows go. But I definitely wouldn't go so far as to shave arrows all over my grown-up hairy body. Maybe your husband would?! For Halloween? I think you should find out just how much he LOVES the Avatar ;)
